In a pencil-snapping showdown, David Rush, the serial Guinness World Record chaser, reclaimed his title by pulverizing 110 pencils in a single minute. The Boise-based breaker had previously set the record at 98 pencils in 2019. After a disqualification hiccup with his stopwatch operator during an attempt to snap 111 pencils, Rush nailed it on his next try, tying the current record holder. With this feat, he now boasts 169 concurrent records, inching closer to his goal of 181.
